I was very impressed with the seafood Lasagne.....it was awesome!! Next time I'm in Whitchurch, I shall call in again!

When I visited – a saturday night – there was a good atmosphere, friendly staff and, most important, real ale served in good condition. If you are in Whitchurch it's worth a visit.

Nice pub, good beer and atmosphere. The food is superb and reasonably priced. A must-visit pub.

Perfectly acceptable Arkells pub in the retiring north Hampshire market town of Whitchurch, once famous for printing the paper used in Bank of England notes. Good 3B and a convivial atmosphere, not least from the very friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Friendly staff. A saloon bar "downstairs" and a lounge bar, restaurant and bar food "upstairs" (Only half a flight of stairs - the place is built on a hill).
Good beer well served (CAMRA approved 2009).
